Happy Hour: Elderflower, a Spirit for Everyone

When I first moved to D.C., I took a job in a local restaurant kitchen.  The owner’s sister was our head bartender, and she was the first person to introduce me to St. Germain elderflower liqueur.  I loved the slightly sweet herbal flavor.  Ordering champagne with elderflower, I felt so impossibly grown up.
