Happy Hour: The Garden Spritz

Feb 17, 2023

There is very little good to be found in an airport.  So imagine my surprise when I found my new favorite drink in an airport bar.  It might be the only good thing I’ve ever found in an airport bar.

Meet the Moet & Chandon Garden Spritz.  This sparkling wine has a delightful citrus flavor, similar to an Aperol Spritz without the work.  I intend to drink the mini-splits all spring and summer long.

This sparkling wine would be a great choice for a bridal brunch or a baby shower.  It’s very light and drinkable, so even my Mother, who doesn’t like bubbles, loved it.

This bodysuit from Abercrombie & Fitch gives you a very dramatic look in a casual package.  It comes in black, beige and white.  It also runs XXS to XL.  Need a plus-size option?  Try this one.

Abercrombie is also hosting a large sale this weekend — 20% off 3 items and 15% off 2 items.  If you’re looking for other items to round out your shopping cart, this satin tank is a phenomenal basic.  I also love this luxe loft slim wrap sweater and this oversized poplin shirt.  I know it’s weird to say, as a 90s kid, but if you need stylish, casual clothes that are a bit more youthful, this is the place for you.

Chandon also has a Garden Spritz Tea that is deeeeeelightful! Sparkling wine with an Earl Grey liqueur.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.
