The Find: Affordable, Cozy Pajamas

Sep 18, 2020

My favorite pjs are these Moonlight pajamas from Nordstrom Lingerie.  They’re comfortable and soft, but at $65 per pair, not that affordable.  I’ve tried several different options from Target, J.Crew Factory, and the like, but they’re just not as good.  So when I bought this pair, I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised.

These Shimera Tranquility Pajamas are a good alternative at about half the price.  The top is a little bit shorter, which isn’t ideal, but it’s not something I notice when wearing them.  They’re equally soft and comfortable.

If you want to spend even less on pajamas, Target has a similar pair.  The material is thinner, but the top is longer.  They’re both nice pairs in the $30 range.

Plus-size?  The Moonlight pajamas come in plus-size, and so do the Target pajamas.

I can vouch for how comfy and soft they are- very yummy. Unfortunately, even the XS swallowed my very petite fame.

I have the shorts version of those pajamas and I’m obsessed. I love them so much, and I have a couple other pairs of bottoms from the same line that have become some of my fave work from home pants. I can’t recommend them enough.

Argh, this is *exactly* what I’ve been looking for in the past month, and they’re sold out in my size!

Anyone have any thoughts on how the Target pajamas hold up? The reviews indicate very fast pilling…

I have the short set version of them for about 2 years and they’ve worked great for me with little wear. I don’t wear them every night though since I rotate it with my other sleep wear.

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.
