Summer Bags: Raffia Totes for Summer

Jul 3, 2019

Heading out on a vacation?  Jealous.  My holiday break will consist of some yard work, some house work, and a doctor’s appointment.  Yay!  Adulthood.  Luckily, this chic tote makes any day feel summery.

I told you.  Summery.

First off, I love that this Mar Y Sol Ibiza Tote Bag has a woven slate-grey and natural color scheme.  The leather handle is nice, because raffia isn’t always comfortable to hold for long periods of time.  And the colorful tassel is a nice addition.

Looking for something under-$75?  Try this very similar NY & Co. tote.  Don’t care for the colored weaving?  Try this Forever21 Wicker Tote Bag.

I’ve been searching for a bag like this – but smaller and crossbody. Does anyone have suggestions?

That’s what I’m looking for too!! I found some but they’ve been scratchy on my skin. The search continues…

I have this bag and the handle has not worn well. Buyer beware.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
