All women want is equality and clothes with pockets. It doesn’t seem that hard. But making clothes without pockets, or with small, unusable pockets, is sadly common (even if it’s sexist). So even though I loved my Spanx jeans — comfortable, stylish, with a little bit of shaping — I hated that they only had back pockets. But, ladies, the latest run of denim from Spanx has front pockets and I love them even more now.

Whether it was the baby or the beginnings of perimenopause, I am a 43-year-old woman with belly fat. 97% of the time, I don’t care. That 3% of the time though can be brutal. Spanx jeans are a good choice for me because they smooth a bit, flatten a bit, but don’t feel uncomfortable or constricting. Add in the pockets and I am now fully on board.
These 90s straight leg jeans are a great option for spring summer. I love the lighter wash, but there are darker choices available. The crop makes them nice with flats or sandals. And they just feel a little bit relaxed, but they’re easy to dress up.
I highly recommend these jeans. Full disclosure, I own four pair of Spanx jeans. I purchased two. I was gifted two. The pair featured above is one I purchased after they sent me these wide legs.

The most difficult item for me to find and even harder to pull the trigger on jeans that costs half a weeks groceries. But, if you say this might work I am going for it.
