The weather in April is always a challenge. Some days are 70 and sunny. Other days are 40 and rainy. Travel to Montana for a weekend, and get caught in a snow storm. The snow will be gone by noon, but the chill won’t be. Wind is up and down, but cold when it comes.
Earlier this month, I rediscovered the joy of a spring-weight sweater. Also, perfect for fall, these sweaters are knitted with lighter materials, in lower gauges for a chunkier, breezier look. Put them on in the morning, and if it gets warmer later, sling them over your shoulders. (Video guides to getting the perfect shoulder drape or knotted tie.)
So here are a few spring sweaters in a neutral, striped palette. Because these can work in any wardrobe. Check back later today for some styling ideas.

I own this sweater. It’s really well-made, comfortable and perfectly slouchy. I’m in a Medium, so TTS.

I looked, I couldn’t find a sweater in that price point. Next time.
I have the Quince sweater in white with a navy (black?) stripe – it’s great.
