Easy dresses are a staple in my work wardrobe.  I want a dress that’s perfect for a dressed down Monday, but I can add a jacket for a dressy Wednesday if need be.  And if it can be comfortable and wearable, all the better.

This shirtdress from Ralph Lauren is made from a comfortable stretch jersey.  The material feels good on and drapes beautifully.  It’s been very gracious with my postpartum body.  The tie-front also helps pull the entire look together.  Best of all, the dress is also available in plus-sizes.

To style this dress, add a navy cardigan over the dress and belt it with this stretch belt from Wolf & Badger.  The stretchiness ensures that it will belt over any cardigan or blazer, and the gold buckle is a cool accent.  Finish the look with this neutral block heel pump with a light, springy look.
