The Only Bra I’m Buying

Sep 21, 2022

Several years ago, I stopped wearing Third Love bras.  I was unimpressed by how they handled some accusations of a hostile work environment, and decided to make a switch.  But I hadn’t found a go to, every day bra until I found this one.

This Natori Perfection Contour Bra is comfortable and supportive.  It shapes the bust, but doesn’t dig in or ride up.  I often wear it for 12-16 hours and forget I have it on.

I wore this bra throughout my pregnancy, and it stretched to fit my bust as I gained weight.  And I’m still wearing it post-partum.

The sizing on this bra is true to size.  I wear a 36B and I took a 36B.  The size range runs 30A to 38G.  It also comes in 16 colors.

I like this bra so much that I am going to try a few other Natori styles.  The sheer details on this bra are pretty.  And I’m interested in this bra because the idea of a memory foam bra is cool.

I’ve been wearing this brand for years. You can find good sales on Nordstrom Rack and during the anniversary sale. Their “feathers” bra is great for a comfy and sexy look.

I must have missed the post about babies arrival! Congrats!!! Wishing you joy and sleep filled nights, eventually 😉

Yes, this is my favorite bra! I’ve also had good luck finding these on poshmark slightly used.

Love this brand. Can cause some sticker shock but the quality is nice. Went to Nordstrom for a professional fitting once (hope they still do those?) and bought four. Two are the cross strap adjustable kind. Don’t recommend that style, as the loops wear out and don’t stay closed over time, in any bra, fwiw. Love the bargain ideas in the comments.

I’ve worn the Natori Feathers bra (also their Flora, a slightly different lace overlay style with the same fit) for years. It’s perfect for shallow profile breasts, and it seems to fit well across the size range (I’m a 32A and do size up to a 32B in the Feathers bra, but I’ve heard many larger-busted women love it too). It goes on sale in “core” colors every year at the Nordstrom sale, and the seasonal colors usually make it to sale each year too.

I found these a few years ago, and they are my go-to. Like you said, you can easily forget you are wearing a bra. I tried the lace cup/strap styles but found them to be a little itchy. This is the style I prefer most.

The price worried me, but some of the bigger sizes including mine (38G) are half off!! “Add to cart!”

  8. Chloe says:

I tried both Lively and Third Love and appreciate that you swapped for a moral reason, but generally speaking I have MUCH preferred Lively’s bras for comfort!

  9. Molly says:

The Natori Rose has been my go-to for almost five years now. I always pick up a new one at the anniversary sale. Hands down the most comfortable bras I’ve ever worn. (I’m a 38C or 36D for reference.)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
