The Find: A Cozy, Relaxed Sweater

Oct 4, 2021

As you know, I love my Free People Ottoman Sweater.  Basically, once the weather turns cold, I wear one several times per week.  But while many of you love the FP sweater, I frequently hear the same two complaints: it’s too expensive and the material is too heavy.

This Cowl Neck Poncho Pullover from Anthropologie solves both of those issues, but is similarly versatile.  It’s got a swingy shape that’s flattering and comfortable.  It has a modern, oversized look (but one that’s a bit more form fitting than the FP).  And it looks great with jeans, leggings or belted over a tank dress.

Oh, and did I mention it’s half the price of the FP sweater?  Yes, it’s a great $80 replacement for my beloved tunic.

The brand that makes this awesome sweater also makes this fantastic v-neck sweater.  If you need a top to layer under it, I recommend this gray camisole with lace trim.

I am very intruiged but the photos on the Anthropologie website make it appear quite large. I’m usually a 6 and wear the x-small in the Free People tunic. Would you recommend an x-small in this sweater as well? Thank you!

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
