The Find: A Sweetheart Neckline

Jan 22, 2021

The sweetheart neckline is a feminine, pretty option that is flattering on almost everyone.  This top from Eloquii is positively fabulous with a puff sleeve and a lot of sass.

Didn’t I tell you this Eloquii puff shoulder top was adorable?  It’s perfect for date night when you want to look a little bit sexy but still dress casually.

Eloquii runs sizes 14-24.  They also offer this neckline in a sleek dress, in case you’re planning a Valentine’s Day celebration at home.

Looking for a misses size option?  This Susanna Monaco top and tall Vero Moda top are both worth a look.

These tops are a great option for dinners out, cocktails or Zoom dates.  I adore the simple sultriness of it.

Thank you for featuring the plus size as the first/featured option! Love it and purchasing 🙂

Love this neckline! I would pair with some sleek black jeans. Have you ever done a black jeans try on/round up? I’ve had the hardest time finding a classic pair (aka not overly cropped capris, no rips, no weird fading/whiskers, you get the picture).

    • Belle says:

AG Farrah makes a black pair, and it’s my favorite. I like their Contour line because it’s a little stretchy, but still fitted.

    • Cait says:

A while back I started just buying my black and dark wash jeans from Ann Taylor. Their curvy fit denim fits me well, I’ve never had problems with it holding up over time, the sale prices are good, and they’re all basic, classic designs.

This is adorable, and I LOVE that the main post is about a plus size item, with non plus alternatives.

Great style and price. Ordered the raspberry color.

The Find: A Striped Tee

Without question, the most worn item in my wardrobe is a black-and-white striped tee. I wear it in winter under sweaters, in spring with white jeans, in summer with black shorts. I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

The Find: Like a McCall’s Pattern

When I was young, my Mother used to bring me along when she would go shopping for fabric. As a result, I spent a lot of time, killing time, flipping through pattern books. So when I spotted this dress, I was instantly transported to the pattern table at a Jo-Ann Fabrics.

Ask the Editor: Vol. IV, No. Eighteen

Before we start today’s reader questions, I wanted to take a moment to talk a bit about mental health. For those who experience mental health challenges — whether occasionally or frequently — talking about our struggles is a double-edged sword.
