The Find: A Slouchy Cardigan

Jan 13, 2021

I need a cardigan that I can wear over dresses, with leggings, or with jeans.  I want it long.  I want it drapey.  I want it cozy, but not heavy.  Does such a cardigan exist?  Yes, yes it does.

This slouchy Daily Ritual Fine Gauge Cardigan is positively dreamy.  It’s made of “a smooth, cool-to-the-touch, easy-wearing all-season yarn designed to be the perfect layering weight.”  And comes in nine colors, but the pale grey is my favorite.

As for sizing, it runs XS to XXL.  It’s a bit oversized, but I would order the sweater true-to-size.  And the pockets are great for keep my wallet or my lip balm handy.

It’s annoying to click thru to find an Instagram equivalent post ?..pushing product. blogs = content …. don’t be so lazy

    • Belle says:

The morning post is always just about one product, or a few. It’s been that way for 12 years. If it doesn’t meet your needs, I’m sure there are other blogs you could read.

    • NK says:

I appreciate the post–easy read. Also, think the above poster could have given feedback (if they wanted) with a less negative tone. A blog is whatever you want it to be, frankly.

What in the world?!? Um, she has a day job and if you want content that badly, maybe you should start your own blog, JB. I mean just, wow, to the rudeness.

  2. Betsy says:

I love the collar on this! Hard to justify a new cardigan but I think I will make the exception for this one. Thanks!

  3. NL says:

Just curious, the description says the sweater is machine washable. Have you washed it yet? How does it hold up? Thanks, and have a great day!

    • Belle says:

I have. I found I need to wash it in a wash bag to cut down on the wrinkles the wait of the sweater causes when it spins in the spin cycle.

  4. Caitlin says:

It’s lovely, especially in that caramel. Do you find it runs long/swallows you? I love this look but I’m pretty short and I don’t want to literally look like I’m wearing a blanket.

There are two kinds of people in this world: People who eat cake on their birthdays and people who don’t.  And some of the weirdos in the latter category (I said what I said) eat pie as an alternative.  So if you’re a “birthday pie” eater with a late summer celebration coming up, may I […]

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
