The Find: A Long Layering Tee

Oct 1, 2020

Long tees are essential for layering.  Under sweaters, sweatshirts, worn under jackets, having a t-shirt that extends below the hem of your third layer pulls your outfit together.  This tee has a tunic length and a shirttail hem, everything you need for fall’s layered looks.

This Treasure & Bond Curved Hem Tee is awesome.   I wear mine under my Side Cutout Sweatshirt from Daily Ritual and the length is perfect.  And with leggings, I love a fully covered rear view.

I am 5’7,” and the model is probably 5’10,” so I think this would be a good tee for taller ladies.  For petite readers, try this similar Karen Scott tee.  For plus-size readers, try this Daily Ritual tee.

The link does say that! But when I searched for it on the Nordstrom site it does come back with availability in some smaller sizes in three colors.

Could you do something similar with oversized button-downs, or tunic-type tops in general? There’s such a fine line between ‘oh that’s oversized and cute’ and ‘swimming in this top’!

There are two kinds of people in this world: People who eat cake on their birthdays and people who don’t.  And some of the weirdos in the latter category (I said what I said) eat pie as an alternative.  So if you’re a “birthday pie” eater with a late summer celebration coming up, may I […]

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
