The Find: A Cozy Top for Fall

Aug 24, 2020

The continuing pandemic has created a need for stylish, comfortable work-from-home clothing.  Now that the weather is cooling, I’m looking forward to loungewear.  This top from Free People is perfectly versatile and selling out fast.

This Fuji Thermal top somehow mixes coziness with sultriness.  The off-the-shoulder top looks great on its own or with a tank under it.  The thumb holes in the sleeves are a fun touch.  Free People has it in several colors including this ivory.

You can wear it with jeans, leggings, joggers, or pencil skirts. This top is already sold out at Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Revolve.  It’s going to be popular.  If you’re interested, I suggest picking it up quickly.

Plus-size? Talbot’s has a grey off-the-shoulder top that’s awfully chic.

gah! out everywhere in my size and now i, too, am obsessed. please watch for others! Did you size up? May of the reviews mention it runs small – odd for FP

I bought this in white from Nordstrom recently, and really love it! The texture of the fabric is really fun and it seems like it will be a very versatile piece. I didn’t realize it came in other colors, and am now tempted to get a few more! I always love to buy multiple colors of the same piece.

Great top. Question: what kind of bra/undergarment to wear underneath?

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
