WFH Items: A Lightweight Button-Up

Apr 16, 2020

I spotted this blouse and it just screamed breezy summer days.  It’s light, breezy, and looks perfectly comfortable.  But it’s also professional enough for a Zoom call.

This Rails Ellis Shirt comes in a handful of colors, but I love this pale seafoam green.  The shirt is 100% cotton (yay!), and has a wonderful light feel and rippled texture.  Sizing runs from XS to XXL.

In addition to the colors above, it also come in white, pale blue, and indigo.  All of them are perfect for summer.  As for how to style it, let’s make some outfits:

Comfortable Work From Home. Top + Linen Pants + Slippers + Stud Earrings

Beach/Pool. Swimsuit + Navy Shorts + Top + Gold Sandals

Casual Lunch. White Jeans + Top + Huarache + Gold Pendant

Relaxed Date. Top + Printed Pleated Skirt + Navy Sandal + Bangle Bracelet Set

Could you comment on how the sizing is? On Nordstrom some reviews say it runs big and some say small 🙁

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
