February shopping is about classic pieces that can be worn in the chilly days of winter and the warmer days of spring. From a chic work blouse to a great drugstore lipstick and a pair of Chanel-inspired slingbacks, these were the pieces that captured the attention of your fellow readers over the last few weeks.
LOFT Ring Crossbody. Looking for a simple, chic bag for travel and weekend? This crossbody has clean lines and chic details. It also has internal organization to keep your essentials tidy. The bag comes in your choice of black or wine.
Chelsea28 Button-Front Dress. A stylish option for date night, a casual wedding, a bridal shower, or any slightly dressy occasion, this dress is a stunner. The defined waistband and v-neck makes this a very flattering and sleek dress. To wear it to work, layer it under a white, one-button blazer and add a simple high heel.
Honest Co. Tinted Lip Balm. On last week’s Five x Five, someone asked what my favorite drugstore lipstick is. This tinted lip balm in Dragon Fruit is the answer. It’s semi-sheer and moisturizes all-day.
Splendid Pearl Studs. These earrings are the perfect easy pearl stud, and they cost under-$30.
Express Toe-Cap Slingbacks. Inspired by the Chanel slingbacks that you see on so many fashion bloggers, these toe-cap block heels are perfect for spring. The neutral look pairs well with any outfit. And at this price, I recommend buying two for when the first pair inevitably wears out.
Banana Republic Dotted Blouse. I’m always on the hunt for sophisticated, neutral separates, pieces that I can use to make many outfits. This blouse pairs well with jeans, pencil skirts, wide-leg trousers, or with a bright blazer. The print adds a bit of interest in a subtle way. It’s a great addition to any wardrobe.
IGK First Class Dry Shampoo. If you need a high-test dry shampoo, this is the one. You can find my recommendations for dry shampoos for every budget here.

I hesitated and my size is sold out in that lovely chelsea dress. From experience, how sloppy would it look to size up?
keep checking back on it every day for the next week or two. someone might return one in the size you were eyeing.
I’d check back for a few days. If you size up, you might need a nip in at the waist, but that would probably be it.
I bought that Chelsea dress as soon as I saw it — button-front dresses that look that great are the best thing ever for breastfeeding/pumping!
