Happy Hour: So Fall, Yet So Close

Is it weird to talk about a cocktail in terms of a summer-to-fall transition?  It is.  Okay.  I’m going to just roll with the weirdness then, because those White Claws you’ve been sipping all summer probably won’t taste as good with a pumpkin spice latte chaser.

Meet, Blackberry Sangria.  This recipe from Vintage Kitty is the perfectly fruity way to say goodbye to the sparkling malt beverages of summer, and hello, to the deeper, moodier cocktails of fall.

Sangria is also the best way to finish up leftover red wine.  You know, if you ever have leftovers…

This blush AllSaints leather jacket was everywhere during the Anniversary Sale.  It was on every blogger wish list, and every magazine’s must-buy guide.  And it is not hard to see why.

I love leather and leather-look jackets, but I prefer them in lighter colors — beige, tan, grey, etc..  They just feel fresher than black, though black is a classic.

Love the color but not the one-week’s salary price tag?  BlankNYC is just about every blogger’s go-to for faux-leather jackets.

Other great options like Express’s  Minus the Leather Jackets come in a number of colors, including a dusty rose.  This Style & Co. faux-leather jacket is a bit longer, which is nice.  And BB Dakota always has nice leather-like options.

Plus-size?  Eloquii’s leather-like jacket looks great, but the pink is electric.  This Halogen drape front jacket is probably your best option in the paler hues.

And if one of you wins this weekend’s lottery drawing, I expect you to buy this IRO beige jacket so I can live vicariously through you.

I’ve had a beige moto jacket for over a year and never worn it. Could you do a post on how to style it?
