It’s time for the Sephora Summer Sale. The retailer is offering 15% off for VIBs, and 20% off for Rouge members with code SummerSale. Also, if you spend more than $50, you’ll receive free 3-day shipping. Ends 8/27.
I purchased these Artis brushes after seeing another blogger apply her makeup with one. I always thought the Artis brushes looked a bit odd, but applying foundation with the palm brush is.a.game.changer. This kit is a great value. It contains everything you need to apply foundation, contour, and face powder. Plus, it has everything you need to clean and protect your brushes.
This CoverFX translucent powder is hands down the best setting powder, ever. The powder is clean, talc-free, and made from green tea. The powder won’t settle into fines lines, and holds like a charm. It also comes in a mini-size if you want to give it a try.
I posted about this incredible Cicapair color correcting treatment two weeks ago, but I love it enough to share it again. If you have fair to medium skin, this product is a must. It smooths and evens out your complexion. And it replaces tinted moisturizer or light foundation, even on my problem skin. This product also comes in a mini-size.
This Wander Beauty Trip for Two palette is the perfect thing for packing light in the summer. It features a complementary blush and bronzer to give you that rosy cheeked summer glow. It comes in this daiquiri hue, and a pinky-coral shade called bellini. I found the daiquiri shade better if you like a strong cheek; the coral is more sheer.
If you suffer from a dull complexion, this Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder will breathe life back into your skin. I use it as a highlighter and to blend in the rough edges of my blush. It comes in several hues, but Mood Light is my favorite. And it comes in a mini-size so you can try it out.

The Hourglass Ambient lighting powder is hands down my favorite recommendation of yours. I picked up the palette a year or so ago and immediately noticed the difference in photos. I bought a blush in the last sale, so I’m tempted to buy another powder. (Love the blush, too.)
I bought Cicapair, and am wearing it now. I’m not sure I’m doing it right, and I have so many questions!
1. Do you wear it with a primer and/or sunscreen? If so, in what order do you apply these three products?
2. I liked the evenness it gave to my skin, but not the shine. Is shine normal? Do you put on powder afterward? I did, and I’m still shiny. :/
Maybe this product isn’t for me (in which case, thanks for Sephora’s generous return policy). But if it isn’t, do you have a recommendation for something similar?
Unrelated to Cicapair, but…did you happen to catch this Allure article about online reviews? Interesting stuff there.

Re: article, shady practices like that are the reason I value Abra’s lack of sponsored content so much! I’m at the point where I’d rather wait for her or fellow commentators to provide recommendations–I just don’t trust most reviewers at this point.
I think she is the most transparent fashion/makeup blogger I follow. Not sure that this is even sponsored . . .
Yes, exactly! I should have mentioned that in my comment – I like the recommendations made on this site for the same reason!
Rebecca:
I don’t have shine when I wear it.
I apply light moisturizer w/ SPF, and then the Cicapair which has SPF. So I don’t use separate SPF.
Dr. Jart has some other tiger grass products, so you might try a sample of those if this one isn’t right for you.
Rebecca, I also just bought Cicapair and used a couple of times, and was wondering about how greasy/shiny it is. 🙁
