The Range: Huggie Hoop Earrings

Feb 27, 2019

I love the look of these snug-fitting hoop earrings.  They’re delicate verging on dainty.  You can have them with a bit of sparkle, or go for a simple metal pair.  They’re the perfect minimalist earring.

I thought this said “huge” hoop earrings, and I was really curious how that was going to work. I had flashbacks of my pre-teen years in Miami.

Another fun idea to change it up — if you have narrow hoops (like the first ones pictured), you can buy “earring charms” to dangle off them. These pearls ones are on the more expensive end, but you can find all different price points. Etsy is a good source. It’s still a conservative look, but gives you more mileage.

Also, if you are a Kate Middleton fan, she frequently wears pearl drops by Annoushka, which are a similar idea. They actually have a whole range of interchangeable drops.

Has anyone purchased anything from Noemie? I’ve been eyeballing these for a while and was reminded about them again after reading this post:

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
