Fantastic Finds: A Pretty Dress for August

I love an easy jersey dress. The kind of dress that you just throw on with a pair of sandals and walk out the door. And this pretty number from LOFT is just the kind of dress I’m into.

How cute is this dress! The bow detail at the back is just so fun. And the bet part, it’s high enough that you can wear a regular bra without showing off your straps.
I throw this dress on when I’m headed to the store, to lunch, or to the pool. Yes, to the pool. But most days I wear it with a cute sandal and, you guessed it, a long necklace.

How does the bow knot treat you when your back is against a chair or, say, the seat in a car? Last year, I had a tank from Old Navy with a similar thing going on but it would make me CRAZY in the car.
I haven’t found it to be a problem.
So cute, but so short! I’m 5’8 and that would be borderline indecent on me.
I’m 5’7″ and it is short. I wouldn’t say indecent, I think the model was 5’9″ for reference. But definitely not for work.
