The Edit: Shopbop Fall 2017 Sale

Shopbop’s epic fall sale is on for the next two days.  With code EOTS17, you save 20% on orders under-$500 and 25% on orders over $500.  The discount applies to both full-price and sale items.

There are essentially two ways to work a progressive sale: 1) pick up one or two affordable pieces to bring some spice to your wardrobe, or 2) get a discount on a splurge-level item that you’ve wanted (saved for) for a while.  Regardless which path you choose–affordable trend pieces or lifetime classics–these are my best picks from the Shopbop sale.

  • Line & Dot

    Alder Sweater

I love the bishop sleeves on this sleek ivory sweater.  It feels sophisticated and ladylike, like a modern take on Audrey Hepburn.  It would be perfect with a pencil skirt and some pearl earrings.

  • Susana Monaco

    Scarlet Dress

This blush-colored dress is a great layering piece in any season. I would add this burgundy cardigan for a chic fall look.

  • Canada Goose

    Kensington Parka

This parka is a splurge, but if you hate to be cold, it could be worth it.  I bought this coat for an outdoor sporting event, and I couldn’t have survived hours of sub-freezing temps without it.

  • Sam Edelman

    Stillson Pumps

These embroidered metallic jacquard pumps could dress up a pair of work trousers or distressed jeans.  Or wear them with any dress that needs a little something more.

  • Scotch & Soda

    Cable Knit Sweater

For work, wear this sweater with a black tie neck blouse.  For weekend, wear a pair of green corduroy pants.  It’s a versatile basic.

  • Michael Kors

    Large Mercer Tote

This bag is the perfect fall essential.  The color pairs well with neutrals and autumnal hues.  The burgundy adds a pop of seasonal color.

  • Black Halo

    Jeannette Dress

If you like sleek, modern work dresses, Black Halo is your dream brand.  I size up so the dresses look less cocktail-hour, more board meeting. They’re some of my favorites.

  • Blaque Label

    Ivory Blazer

The crisp blazer with sharp edges is fun alternative to a simple blazer.  Wear this ivory number with grey, camel, burgundy, and mustard for a fall office look.

  • Gabrielle Artigas

    Infinite Tusk Ring

I’m taking my jewelry in a simpler direction.  This tusk ring would work with any aesthetic.  I adore this ring.

Hi! Tragic I know, but the Canada Goose jacket is excluded. 🙁 It had me fooled, too.

Coyote fur? Seriously? Anyone who buys Canada Goose is either totally uninformed or completely heartless. Disappointing that you would purchase, let alone feature their products.

You bought a $900 winter coat for a sporting event? That feels a little crazy, must have been a very cold event!??

Since my family lives in Montana and likes snowmobiling and skiing, I knew I’d get more wear out of it. I just didn’t want being frozen in 20 degree temps to ruin the Super Bowl for me, but the Broncos did that all on their own.
