How to Wear It: White After Labor Day

Sep 18, 2017

The ‘no white after Labor Day’ rule is an antiquated relic.  White is crisp, elegant, and perfect for any season.  Here are three outfits that illustrate how to wear white after summer ends.

Meeting. Mango Essential Blazer ($49) // Target New Day Top ($24) also in plus-size // River Island Bow Skirt ($70) // Journee Mariah Pump ($45) // Shashi Solitaire Earrings ($32)

Brunch. Double L Cable Sweater ($49) similar in plus-size and petite // NYDJ Ami Skinny Jean ($114) // Tony Bianco Reggie Boot ($180) // AllSaints Small Kita Backpack ($378) // Shashi Hoop Earrings ($36)

Cocktails. Alice + Olivia Lace Up Dress ($174) // H&M Leopard Coat ($69) // Schutz Monia Heel ($136) // Baublebar Rosabella Tassel Earrings. ($36)

Hey, can you comment on how to style the Saturday Brunch booties? Do you tuck the jeans in? Roll/shorten the jeans to the top of the boots? I really struggle with styling boots with this height shaft.

Love all three of these! The jeans especially. I wear my white jeans year round. I need someone to break up all the black in New York.

I love styling them with over the knee boots too, but be careful as the lining of some boots will rub off. I learned that one the hard way.

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
