I love open cardigans.  You can dress them up, dress them down.  Wear them open and casual, or belt them for a more structured look.  This Striped Open Cardigan ($79) has a great mix of neutrals and a good length to it.  I would wear it for weekends with these distressed black jeans and an ivory shirt.  For work, I would go with a grey sheath dress and a pair black booties.

Looking for a neutral draped cardigan?  More options in all size ranges in the comments.

My favorite buy of 2016 was a vintage Dries Van Noten striped cardigan bought for a song at a vintage store in Chicago. Hopefully, it’s something I will have forever! Long live the cardigan.

I have been trying to mix up my wardrobe and got a variety of cardigans. But I can’t seem to figure out the belt part! I always end up looking completely not put together and frumpy. Any suggestions?

This is also really cute plane attire with leggings.

They’re also very forgiving when you’ve been too busy for the gym as of late!

I’ve been wearing the same one for years (it’s the best). But they don’t make it anymore. So here are some options for replacement.

The Find: Like a McCall’s Pattern
