Five Bags from the Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale

May 12, 2016

Rebecca Minkoff makes the best bags.  I have four, including one I carry almost every day, and I’m impressed with their durability.  This week, RM is having an online sample sale.  Here are five bags, under-$200 that bring a lot of style to the party.

I like the bags and have one, and agree they are durable. I just cannot stand the danglers-they add nothing to the design in my opinion-they weaken it if anything. I took mine off.

  2. rh says:

I have had terrible luck with the. The leather piping around the bottom of my MAB wore thin and poked out and the strap on a work tote I have broke after two months. I am not impressed with the durability and I did not carry either of these every day.

    • SSC says:

Agree. I had a Jules satchel that I carried every day. The metal connector on the shoulder strap wore through four months in. I sent it off to have it repaired once, but when it wore through again six months later I just decided I was done with the bag and RM. It was a beautiful bag, though.

I totally agree!!! I have the bowery tote, thankfully I got it for cheap or I would be more annoyed, and the leather has worn really strangely. It’s gotten almost patchy even though it’s never been in the rain.

  3. Allie says:

The link to the Regan Satchel doesn’t seem to be working. If I am able to find it I think I will get it though!

  4. M.L. says:

Fellow readers – any suggestions for work bag and law school graduation present from brands other than Rebecca Minkoff? Will be working in Midwest public sector (in court more often than not), so nothing too high-end, budget up to $500. I’ve tried and ruled out Lo & Sons, Dagne Dover and MZ Wallace. Thanks for any suggestions!

  5. MissMary says:

I’m surprised by the wear & durability issues posted. The only comment I support is the ridiculous dangling leather strips. I removed mine, as well. I have at least 4 RM bags and I’ve had no issues.
