Sangria is hands down my favorite drink to serve at parties, showers and brunches. You can make it ahead of time, in large batches and you don’t need to spend all night manning the bar. Plus, it’s a crowd pleaser.
This recipe for a sangria that has citrus and champagne comes to use from Your Southern Peach (photo is theirs). The recipe couldn’t be simpler, and it just looks so darn refreshing. I kind of want one right now.
Ark & Co Knit Fit and Flare Dress ($69)
It’s been a long, dark, cold, rainy, blustery winter here in D.C., and now that it’s starting to fade, I have flirty dresses on the brain. This fun dress from Ark & Co has a great style with a fuller skirt and a cross-strap back. I also love the wider strap so you can wear a real bra with it (score!).
Piperlime is a great place to hit for under-$100 dresses. They have fun styles and great colors for pieces both classic and trendy. This Pim & Larkin sleeveless lace mini-dress would be perfect for a wedding. This lattice-detail dress has a very cool neckline. And if you’re looking for sleeves, this chevron knit dress is really fun.
Petite? This BR yellow cross-back dress is so fun, and don’t miss this floral sateen dress from Gap (also in tall). Plus-size? This ikat-print fit and flare dress from Adrianna Papell is very cute. I also loved (LOVED!) this under-$100 Wallis oval spots dress in a great neutral print.
Yay, Sangria! My favorite drink. I’ve never had peach, though…
