Ask Belle: Pendants and Charms

Dec 21, 2015

Hi Belle!

I love your understated jewelry style.  My sister wants a small gold charm for her delicate chain necklace for Christmas.  Have you seen any fun or particularly pretty charms that have caught your eye?

Thanks so much!  AA

Nordstrom always has some nice choices.  I think pendants that lay in-line with the necklace, instead of dangling, are a modern choice.  Kendra Scott makes several lovely, affordable options.

Stella & Dot Tag Charm ($36)

Some of the prettiest charms I’ve seen come from Stella & Dot.  The tag above can be engaged to your liking.  I love, love this delicate horseshoe charm.  They’re alphabet clover charm is a stealthy way to add your initials to your necklace without getting too cute.  And they price the charms so you can buy a few, and layer them on.

Macy’s also has a huge selection of silver and gold charms.  Thanks to Miss Avery, this miniature schnauzer charm caught my eye.

Have you ever heard of or tried Rocksbox? I just found out about it and signed up, but I’m curious to know if others have tried it!

The Kate Spade initial pendants arte adorable. Also the dog rated necklaces are good. Both can be found at Nordstrom.

Wow, the alphabet clover charm. Just wow.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
