Belle’s Picks from the Epic Reiss Sale

Dec 21, 2015

British retailer Reiss is having an incredible sale.  Their clothes are sophisticated and modern.  They also have a great balance of work, casual and cocktail attire.  Here are some of the many pieces that caught my eye and/or my wallet.

  1. Helena says:

I have the Ricca jacket and it is beautiful. I found that the matching trousers were a better choice than the skirt, which had strange seaming on the hips. The Reiss sales associate agreed! Also, a word to those unfamiliar with Reiss sizing: I usually size up one size in dresses and bottoms, but take my normal size in tops. The cut is slim and straight, much like other European brands.

  2. Grace says:

I have been eyeing a few things, but when I went and looked, the prices on the sale items were the same as they have been for quite some time. Is there a coupon for this incredible sale or something? What am I missing?

  3. Meghan says:

That shall neck jacket! File under things I need!

  4. Anna says:

Oh man, that off-the-shoulder sweater looks so great to snuggle on the couch in. Too bad I’d be the only one to see it, so it wouldn’t really be worth spending that much.

  5. Sarah says:

I love this shawl neck jacket. Any suggestions for a similar plus size version (or at least one that goes past UK size 10)?

    • Liz in London says:

I love the look of Reiss, but sizing is super hard. They only go up to UK size 14 in most items (US size 10), and the cut isn’t the best for curves. So, even if I am generally a size 10, I can’t wear many of their dresses. I loved their white coat this season, but it just didn’t fit in the bust. Very disappointing.
