Work Wednesday: Impeccable Tailoring from Me + Em

I love Me + Em. In my dreams, I get to wear it every day. In reality, I have a budget. But for a business suit, I can stretch a bit, because a suit is a purchase that I can wear for years (depending on size fluctuations, decades). Regardless of whether you’re shopping or indulging in eye candy, let’s have a look at Me + Em’s incredible tailoring.

I love this olive green soft sculpt suit. It has a less structured look, but it’s still impeccably tailored. The green is such a fabulous color — neutral, but unique — and that’s probably why it’s selling out. Gorgeous.

These wide leg soft sculpt pants are so versatile. They look great with the suit jacket above, but also with blazers in other colors — navy, ivory, black. Wear them with a relaxed ivory sweater. Wear them with a silky blouse. They truly stand on their own.

I wanted to soften this suit a bit with a floral blouse. This one has hints of green to pull the look together. If that isn’t your jam, try a neutral blouse with a textured detail, like this pleated blouse.

Me + Em just gets it. They understand that I don’t want to buy 10 belts in different colors. I want to buy one great belt, and have it come in two colors. This reversible belt is so chic. The buckle looks great with pants or around the waist of a simple dress.
