A Lent begins, it’s time to start thinking about Spring. We have a handful of spring weddings on our calendar, and luckily, we have no guest overlap, so I can get by with one dress for three gatherings. So when I spotted this one on Nordstrom.com, I knew it was the winner.
This Donna Karan dress is absolutely gorgeous. As a 43-year-old woman with a body that I struggle to have neutral thoughts about, I wanted something that was playful and fun, but still offered some coverage for my arms and a wearable length. This dress gives you a modest cut, but the sheer keeps it feminine and subtly seductive.

That’s the nice thing about the sheer, it can hit anywhere and you get the look of both a long dress and a short dress. But mid-calf would be ideal.
