I don’t post a lot of Outfit of the Day content. Mostly because I’m not great at time management, and in the morning, I’m a tornado that’s trying to be on time for work, not someone who took 20-30 extra minutes to pose in front of a mirror. But sometimes, I remember to post about an outfit in the moment (or the night before after I laid it out for the day to save time in the morning). So here it is.

When I bought this Tuckernuck shirt, I didn’t really know what to wear it with. I just picked it because it was cute. As a result, it sat in my closet, unworn, for like a year. Influencers, they’re just like us. And now, here it is in an outfit just like I planned it that way.

The green in this J.Crew sweater picks up the green in the blouse. Just make sure to foldover the sleeve and cuff so that you get a bit of the pattern peeking out at the wrists. It balances out the floral pattern at the collar.

I wish I was wearing Spanx jeans today. So flattering. So comfortable. But no, we can’t wear jeans on Fridays, so I have to wear real pants. Again. (Luckily, these ones were out of the wash.) So let’s pretend I’m wearing these because I like the outfit better with jeans.

My feet need a break, so I am wearing my Rothy’s points. If you like pointed shoes, you need to size up a 1/2 size in Rothy’s for comfort. But while I wish I could wear rigid, leather shoes every day, I’m a perimenopausal woman who wore 3″ high heels for a decade — my feet need the rest.
