Work Wednesday: Elegant in Ivory

A tailored blouse is an easy item to add to your professional wardrobe. You can wear it with a jacket or without and still look polished. Here’s how to style one for a professional work outfit that is still relaxed.

Crewneck Fluid Top ($90)

This is a nice piece to have in your wardrobe.  It layers well over any color pant, or over any crepe skirt.  With a dark jean and kitten heels it’s great for a Friday at the office.

Pocket Crepe Midi Skirt ($77)

Wearing the top with the pencil skirt looks like a popover dress.  However, if you prefer pants, they also make a crepe pant in the same ivory hue.

I like a collar necklace with a crewneck top.  This layered chain necklace is a nice choice.

Ivory and burgundy is an underrated color combination.  These suede slingback pumps are a great option for pairing with the skirt or the pants.
