My Picks from Old Navy

I buy a lot of Sloane’s clothes at Old Navy. They’re as well made as the clothes you see in more expensive stores, and I can buy the cutest things in her current size and her next size without breaking the bank. So when I go shopping for Sloane, I will often throw something in the cart for myself. Here are some pieces that recently caught my attention.

This canvas barn jacket is a great buy. This trend seems to have more staying power than I thought, but it’s still a look that I would reserve for the playground or the farmer’s market. So, for me, a $36 piece to jazz up a basic outfit is right where I am at. Also in petite and tall, runs up to 4X.

This polka dot blouse is a really cute shirt with black jeans or black pants. It is sold out in the small, but my tailor charged me $9 to take it in, so it was still a good buy for a “stand alone shirt” that doesn’t need to be layered to look cute.

I own this sweatshirt in two colors. It’s the perfect leggings/jeans sweatshirt. So soft. So cozy. Just boxy enough. Just long enough.

I needed a purse that I can literally destroy and not feel bad about. Essentially, I was tired of babying a $350 crossbody I bought this summer. This $18 crossbody is the STAR OF THE SHOW. I bought it in Royal Burgundy and it looks so good. And when I pitch it onto a car seat or across a counter, I don’t worry whether I scuffed the leather.
