The Find: Body Lotion, Because It’s Dry

Mar 6, 2025

The older I get, the drier my skin gets. It’s madness. For years, I used Kiehl’s Creme de Corps — then it stopped working as well. Then, I switched to Osea’s Body Balm — a great product, but it’s so thick, it doesn’t come out of the bottle well. So I started using my daughter’s baby lotion — because why not? And then, my Fab Fit Fun box came (yes, I am one of 11 people still subscribing to that) with the most fantastic lotion in it.

Meet Korres Elasti-Smooth Body Butter.

After 17 years of blogging, I’m more shocked when a product delivers the promised results than when it doesn’t. So after two weeks of use, when I noticed the skin about my knees looked less saggy and less crepe-y, I thought it was a fluke. Until I noticed that my arms also looked less crepe-y. Oh my God, it’s the lotion…

Moisturizing, crepe-reducing, and so rich feeling, I am now in a committed relationship with this lotion. It comes in a so many scents — everything from coconut and grapefruit, to lemon basil and Santorini grape. I own the guava, it’s not overwhelming, just a little fruity and fresh.

$25 for 7.95 fl. oz. is a bit spendy for lotion, but I adore this product enough that I will buy HSN’s two-pack of 13.5 fl. oz. bottles for $70. It’s good enough that I feel the need to stock up.

How do we feel about coffee bean scent? Idk seems like a risk in too large of a size!

Ok, so thoughts on Fabfitfun? I did it for 2024 and enjoyed it. There were definitely things I just gave away but the few big wins I had definitely had me breaking even.

What are you typically picking? Any other major wins or fails? Is it worth it?

I’ve subscribed since 2020 – I’m annual and like being able to pick in all categories. I pick a mix of brands/products I already use as restocks and new to me stuff. Very few true duds in 4+ years.

Some wins – Iconic blurring primer, Color Wow shampoo, Dibs cream bronzer/blush stick – all things I wouldn’t have tried if not for the box

Korres has a white pine menopause face lotion that is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I feel so lucky to have found this company.

Speaking of dipping into your kids’ lotion, I slather my eczema-prone littles with Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream, and I’ve been so impressed I’m using it now too. Even on my face. It’s feels more hydrating this winter than any lotion I’ve ever used. Still a Tony Moly Banana Sleeping Pack fan too for a little something extra!

Korres is great. Agree the lotion is amazing. Their lip butters are super fun too.
