Five Amazing Fall Handbags

Sep 4, 2024

The same bag has popped into my Instagram feed every day for two weeks. It’s on influencer feeds. It’s on my friends’ feeds. It’s haunting me. But why share just one amazing bag, when you can share five?

This is the Veronica Beard Dash Bag that is following me like a specter through my life.  Isn’t she beautiful?  The bag comes in other sizes and colors, but this croc-embossed look seems to be the most popular.  Maybe I’m boring, but I would get the most use out of basic black.

Yes, this bag is spendy at $798, but given that influencers regularly feed out multi-thousand dollar bags, this is the slightly more approachable splurge that I’m looking for.

On the more affordable side, you have this Madewell crescent bag.  This is the second most shared bag in my feed right now.  Most of the influencers I follow say it’s a dupe for this eye-poppingly-priced Khaite bag.  It comes in multiple colors and textures, but pea green bags are a trend this fall.

This small 3.1 Philip Lim shoulder bag has a wonderfully decorative resin chain and sophisticated details.  It’s more of a clutch size, but it would be perfect for casual weekend events.  It also comes in black.

The Coach Brooklyn Shoulder bag is the most shared bag in my feed right now.  It comes in two sizes, a large size for $495 and a “smedium” size for $295.

This is the bag I will likely buy.  The J.Crew Berkeley Tote is perfectly slouchy and utterly chic.  Sadly, it does not ship until December.  Heartbreaking, but it’s definitely being purchased now as a Christmas gift to myself.

I appreciate how subtle the name is on the 3.1 Philip Lim. I’d love the Veronica Beard with no name splashed across it.

I agree to the logo presenter. To me nothing ruins, the classy bag, then to have an enlarged manufacturers logo plastered aim it.
