For several years, the usual Friday post was the Happy Hour — a post featuring a cocktail for the end of the work week and an outfit to wear for the occasion. But in recent months, as I’ve stopped drinking weekly, writing that feature lost its luster. So I started thinking about a new feature to take its place, to cap off the week.

Meet Too Many Tabs: a collection of everything I spotted, saved and screenshotted. A place for my Instagram saves, my screenshotted photos, my Pinterest likes, and the other social media clutter that caught my eye. Here’s the first episode.

If you have a walk-in closet or a cramped reach in, I love this idea for storing denim with hooks on a curtain rod.  The Renegade Home explains how to set it up, and shows you some other items that can be stored this way to save space.  I’m going to try this in Sloane’s room for her coats, so I picked up these shower curtain hooks and this French curtain rod.

I immediately saved this nail polish design to Pinterest.  I think it’s a great choice if you want something different.  Multi-color French tips are also a fun idea.  The yellow is a bit too bold for me, however, in a candy apple red, like Chanel Incendiare, or a bright orchid like, OPI Thistle Make You Bloom, it could be a very fun look for spring.

I’m on the hunt for easier recipes, now that Kyle and I have agreed to share cooking duties.  This Lemongrass Chicken with Zucchini looks like a great option.  I’d probably throw in another veggie (yellow pepper or carrots, most likely), but we’ll definitely be making this next week.

The Facebook Gods fed me this Anthropologie cardigan, and I thanked them by immediately purchasing it (as one does).  I just adored the crochet sleeve and the covered button detail.  This would be perfect over a silk cami for a dinner date or with a white, wide strap tank and kick flare jeans for work.

This lovely photo comes from my friend Meghan’s Instagram.  I adore the idea of using vintage ashtrays for jewelry storage or corralling other small items.  The best place to find them is probably Etsy.  If you’re first or last name starts with P, this peacock teal one has your initial on it.

This Real Simple article on the best sleep positions for your sleep issues has been circulated widely among my friends.  Apparently, your 40s are the time when you stop sleeping because you can no longer get comfortable.

Long time readers of this blog will remember the Faux Pas feature that I wrote in my snarkier days.  These shorts from Free People would certainly have qualified.  Luckily, the commenters on Free People’s Instagram post brought all of the snark one could ever need to describe this garment that I hasten to call shorts.  They look like Levi Strauss decided to make lingerie for San Fransisco’s brothel workers instead of pants for its miners.
