Five Skirts for Festive Gatherings

This year, I’m wearing a flashy skirt with a simple sweater to my holiday parties.  It’s an easy look with just enough festive verve.  Here are a few skirt choices that caught my eye.

This sequin skirt from Mango is a fantastic option.  I love the midi-length.  And I would never have considered wearing it with liquid-silver shoes, but now I can’t see it any other way.  Looking for a plus-size option?  Try this Eloquii skirt from Nordstrom.

If I’m looking for a sequin skirt, I love the larger pailette style.  They look a bit more chic.  This Skies are Blue skirt from Dillard’s is the perfect option.  It would be amazing with a black sweater.  Looking for something shorter?  Ann Taylor has this gorgeous a-line skirt.

This dotted tulle skirt from Ann Taylor is phenomenal.  So ladylike.  It’s selling out fast, but there are still some sizes available.  This pale pink, pleated tulle skirt is also gorgeous.  I also like this pale mocha skirt.

Have a Barbie moment in this slit-front satin skirt.  I love it paired with ballet pink wrap sweater.  Thank you Greta Gerwig for giving pink back to us.

This fringe skirt from Ann Taylor is playful and fun.  As you can see, with a simple black sweater, it looks like a dress.  I adore the look.  Plus, it can be worn on nights other than New Year’s.
