Yes, I know it’s Tuesday.  My parents were in town this weekend, so the window shopping had to wait until last night.  Here are the pieces that caught my eye this week, as I was hunting for blog inspiration.

A few years ago, I bought a lace blouse while traveling in the UK, and I have worn in every season since.  I love the texture of a cotton lace when worn under a sweater or blazer.  Sezane has the most beautiful lace tops.  This floral lace mock neck would look incredible solo or worn under a crewneck sweater.  This airy black lace top is also a wonderful option.  Or if you want the texture of lace without the slightly lingerie feel, this sheer top has a wonderful textured embroidery.

As I was searching for holiday attire for a future post, I spotted these incredible Sparkle Closed Toe Flats from WHBM.  The color is a muted bronze, making them a fantastic choice for women who want a subtle sparkle.  The retailer has a fantastic selection of shoes.  These shimmery block heel sandals with chic bow accents are also a great option.  Or if you prefer a bit of height, try these burgundy platform heels.

Gift Guide prep has begun (the first one launches tomorrow), and as I was searching for beauty gifts at Sephora, I spotted this fantastic Gucci lipstick trio.  Two of the lipsticks in this trio are products I own — the Goldie Red and Argentina, a rosewood.  They’re both fantastic, and they’re the price of a single lipstick.  Prefer a lighter lipstick, not something so matte?  Gucci offers this set of Rouge Beaute lipsticks for $110.

Are you looking for a new jacket?  Something that you can wear on the weekends with jeans or over cocktail dresses for an unexpected pairings?  You want an aviator jacket.  These shearling trimmed coats look phenomenal worn with a t-shirt or a satin dress.  I love this cream one from Nordstrom Rack, and this black-on-black jacket from ASOS.

What are you shopping for this week?  Leave your thoughts in the comments.

    Those shoes are incredible!

I am looking for nail products. Specifically, nail polish alternatives. I took your clue for Dashing Diva (thank you) and love the product. Looking into their thicker gel strips that need to be cured under a lamp for a holiday wedding/dinner at a super nice restaurant.

Faux suede moto jackets. Rain boots. Cotton winter sweaters. A navy hip-length sweater: not cropped because I live in a place where my sweaters have to cover my posterior because stadium seats are cold and/or just plain gross. And not duster length because my coat isn’t long enough. Plane tickets to someplace warmer.

I’m looking for travel shoes. Difficulty level: disabled, with balance issues. So I need good, neutral, stable, slip on walking shoes I can wear in a variety of climates. And I would prefer they not he hideous. Most of what I see online looks like a hoof.

Gloves and hats – what does an adult woman wear that keeps her warm but doesn’t look like I am wearing reflective neoprene to run a winter marathon?

Another month has come and gone, and between a busy work schedule, illness and the search for new childcare, I almost forgot to ask for questions for the AMA.  Luckily, I remembered late last night.  So here we go. I always think it’s funny when people send rude or overly personal questions when I put […]

I love stocking stuffers.  They are the best part of Christmas.  There’s just nothing quite like an affordable gift that’s funny or useful or chic (or maybe all three).  So here is Part One of my stocking stuffer gift guides, where nothing costs more than $30.

Add to Cart: Five Recent Amazon Purchases

Since my daughter was born, Amazon has claimed so much of my money that I had to buy stock just to get some of it back.  Between the formula, onesies, fruit pouches, diapers, wipes, and ever evolving list of baby development gear, I could not survive without Prime.   My husband no longer notices the […]
