The Find: An Affordable Vacation Dress

Feb 16, 2023

Do you have a warm weather vacation planned for the spring?  Or are you so ready for a little warm weather that you’re ready to buy a dress that offers the promise of poolside cocktails and sunny days?  Then, I have a dress for you.

Yes, please, take a minute to shield your eyes from this burst of summer.  It’s 8-degrees outside, so I also needed a moment to adjust.

This Steve Madden Amira dress is perfect for vacation.  It’s gauzy and flowy for warmer climes.  And the shape is easy to wear and universally flattering.  Sizes run XS-XL, and it also comes in navy.

Toss it in your bag to wear as a swimsuit cover or as an easy dress to wear to brunch or dinner.  For the pool, all you need is a pair of slides, a woven tote and a pair of sunglasses.  For dinner, add a pair of fun earrings, a pair of chic sandals, and a black raffia clutch.

Oh, and did I mention the dress is $39?  So you can ball it up in your tote bag poolside, and not feel bad about it.

The Find: A Miracle T-Shirt

Remember when clothes didn’t suck? The years were the late-90s and early-aughts. Jeans stretched a little, but were mostly cotton. Cashmere was soft and heavy and durable.
