The Find: A Stylish Tunic Sweater

Nov 8, 2022

Post-pregnancy, it’s been a bit difficult to figure out what to wear. My body feels like it’s constantly changing, and clothes that were comfortable last week might not be this week.  And since leggings are the easiest thing for me to wear right now, I’ve been on the hunt for sweaters that I can wear with leggings so that I can feel like I got dressed that day.

This Halogen V-Neck Tunic Sweater is a must have for colder weather.  It’s long enough to wear over leggings for a sleek causal look.  It also looks great with trousers or denim.

The sweater is made of a soft poly-blend material, which given my wool allergy works for me.  I like the slightly blouson sleeve and the ribbed style.  Plus, the sweater comes in nine colors (this light grey is my favorite) and runs true to size.

While many Halogen pieces also come in plus-size, this one sadly does not.  For a plus option, I like this slit tunic sweater from Open Edit (also in misses).

Probably not as long as the sweater you posted, but is long enough for leggings on my 5’4″ self. I don’t know that the material will last more than 2-3 seasons, but that’s okay for you right now!

yes! I’m having such a hard time finding sweaters and tops long enough to cover my booty. Was never a priority before but 2 months post partum I crave a little extra coverage.

There are two kinds of people in this world: People who eat cake on their birthdays and people who don’t.  And some of the weirdos in the latter category (I said what I said) eat pie as an alternative.  So if you’re a “birthday pie” eater with a late summer celebration coming up, may I […]

The Find: Bright and Striped

For the past few years, the wardrobes of many influencers have tilted toward the beige and boring.  I’m all for a good basic, but staple pieces can only take you so far.  Sometimes, you need to wear something that has a little something extra, and this sale-priced tee certainly does.
