The Range: Western Boots for Fall

Sep 26, 2022

I admit, as a Montanan, I have mixed feelings about the Western boot trend.  I was raised in a place where those who did not work in agriculture rarely wore boots, so as not to be confused with the hardworking men and women who grow our food.  But with the prevalence of television shows like Yellowstone, it’s no wonder this trend has emerged for fall.  Here are four pairs in different price points to wear with denim and sweater dresses.

Corner Office

Stella McCartney Tall Western Boots ($1,495)

Cubicle Farm

Steve Madden Lasso Tall Boot ($229)

Front Desk

Universal Thread Sadie Western Boots ($45)

Wide Feet

Ariat Western Heritage Boot with Elastic ($209)

Tecovas has beautiful boots. I have a colleague that wears a pair with boot cut jeans and a tailored blazer at casual client events that we sponsor. Maybe its my Texas showing, but I think its a fantastic mix of casual/professional. She wears the Annie in green: https://www.tecovas.com/products/the-annie?variant=37444976738499

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
