The Range: Summer Dresses from Mango

May 23, 2022

The unofficial start of summer is just a week away, and I am ready.  Sure, it’s still sporadically rainy and cold out West, but a girl can dream.  So let’s take that daydream to the Mango website for a tour of a few of my favorite dresses from their new arrivals.

The simple print on this floral dress makes it a great option for summer.  And when you add in the deep slit, you get a date night dress that is still sexy with flats, so you don’t have to pass on the evening stroll.

This red printed dress is so bold and fun.  It just makes me want to go dancing.  I also like that it has a slim puff-sleeve, so you aren’t smothered by the extra material.

A white dress is the perfect thing for summer, but once you add in a cut-work embroidery, it becomes sublime.  I actually bought this for myself in a 12, hoping against hope that it will work on my 2nd trimester figure.  But just in case it doesn’t, I also bought the 6 for next summer.  Because it’s just that good.

The color on this dotted dress is so fantastic.  It feels very elegant and unique.  This would be a great dress for a church wedding or a work dinner at a conference.  It gives you just the right amount of festive vibes while still being a bit conservative.

A summery black dress can be tough to find.  This v-neck tiered dress is great with a sandal (skip the cowboy boots, even in Montana, we’re not doing that).  And if you don’t want black, don’t miss the blue stripe option.

Going on a vacation?  This brightly printed frock comes in both misses and plus-size.  It’s perfect for the Caribbean or Cabo, or just a backyard barbecue with tropical drinks.

This bow-front dress in misses and plus-size also caught my eye.  I loved the sage color and the waist-defining tie.  It’s a nice option for casual Friday or weekend.
