The Find: A Dress for Dinner

Mar 9, 2022

Now that the world has decided to reopen, I need a few dresses for nights out.  But I don’t want to cinch myself in to uncomfortable sheath dresses.  This wrap silhouette dress with a feminine print is everything I’m looking for.

I bought this Fourteenth Place Wrap Dress, and it is so fabulous.  The soft-neutral print, the wider waistband, and the slim puff sleeve give the dress a lovely look.  It’s also very comfortable to wear.

For the colder months of spring, layer on a neutral cardigan.  For dinners out, put on this Rhodocrosite earring and a matching lipstick.  Want to dress it down?  Grab a denim jacket and a great sandal.

Need it in plus-size?  Nordstrom has you covered.

Love this dress. Didn’t know I needed a pastel animal print dress but I do. Could see this being cute with the beige leather jacket from the other day.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
