The Brand: Five Great Pieces from Mango

Feb 8, 2022

Mango is one of my favorite brands for work.  The pieces are affordable, well-made and stylish. Their early-Spring offerings are rolling out, and here are a few of my favorites.

I love the light seafoam color on this Double Breasted Trench.

This Flowy Modal Blouse is great under a blazer or chunky cardigan.

Love the neckline on this Perkins-Neck Dress.

The color on this Puffed Sleeve Sweatshirt is lovely.

With jeans or trousers, this Pocket Tweed Jacket is so chic.

Also- don’t sleep on Violetta, the plus size line from Mango.

I’ve found they’ve done some tinkering with the plus size offerings. Doesn’t feel as though the selections are as numerous as before.

Love these options! The best advice I’ve heard about Mango is that you can search by fabric! So you can type in 100% cotton and those items will come up!

Thank you for this round up! It seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find decent workwear at this price point (my workplace is not cool with sweatshirts yet).
Could you give any guidance on how their sizing runs compared to other brands such as J.Crew,Banana Republic, or Ann Taylor?

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]

The Find: My Best Workout Shorts

For eight years, I have worn the same workout shorts. Every year, an influencer tries to sell me new shorts. I order them. I try them on. They pale in comparison to the shorts I already own. I return them.
