There is no one better at making rain coats than the British. In a climate that is wet and chilly, they have built what they need. This raincoat from Boden is perfect for keeping you dry and warm.
The Bamburgh Raincoat is the raincoat to end all raincoats. Its made of two pieces: a completely waterproof exterior and a quilted, knee-length puffer. The liner is detachable, so you can wear the jacket in multiple seasons. The coat also comes with a detachable hood.
The color way in the photo is a navy/khaki (which reads olive). The coat also comes in a sage/navy combination.
If you live in a wet climate, this is the sleek raincoat that you have been looking for. Sizes run o-20. Some of the garments pieces are made of recycled materials.

I love all of Boden’s coats! I was eyeing this coat in the recent catalog but I live in a southern city with minimal rainfall.and cannot justify it.
I live in northern CA so don’t need anything this warm/long since it barely rains here. But I have looked for decades for the perfect raincoat for mild climates and turned to an “oldy by goody” LLBean’s H2Off coat last year and I.am.in.love. https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/82669 I have it in the deep rose color which is a lovely red/pink hybrid. It nips in a bit at the hips, and provides great weather coverage without making me sweat when it’s 65 degrees out (the typical rainy day temp here). My only complaint is that the pockets are not zippered. But still. This is it for you warmer climate peeps who need something casual.
