Summer Dress Week: A Tie-Neck Sheath for Work

Jul 22, 2021

Dressing for work is more of a challenged in the summer.  So much of my professional wardrobe is long-sleeved and heavy.  But I own a handful of dresses that I can reach for when I need something styled for warmer weather.

This dress from Maggy London, with its tie neck and simple styling, is chic enough to be warn on its own and still make an impact.  It also looks lovely paired with a crewneck jacket or this very, very chic crewneck sweater with large buttons (I would buy that one in a heartbeat).  Prefer a fuller skirt?  They also offer the tie-neck top on an a-line skirt.

Maggy London has a number of affordable work dresses that would be a welcome addition to any wardrobe.  The heavier material  wears well and there are always a wide variety of colors to choose from.  This ivory crepe sheath dress is another excellent choice.

Need plus-sizes?  Maggy London makes a few styles in a plus-size.  I love this cobalt dress.

The Maggy London dress appeared sold out on Amazon when I clicked the link, but MaggyLondon.com has this dress in a ton of colors if anyone’s looking to purchase.

I have the Maggy London dress in three color (bought on Abra’s recommendation)! It is so so good. The fabric is great, it washes well, and it looks like an outfit with minimal accessories. It’s often at Nordstrom Rack, so check there too.

Add to Cart: Five Recent Amazon Purchases

Since my daughter was born, Amazon has claimed so much of my money that I had to buy stock just to get some of it back.  Between the formula, onesies, fruit pouches, diapers, wipes, and ever evolving list of baby development gear, I could not survive without Prime.   My husband no longer notices the […]
