The Find: Meet CalPak

Jun 15, 2021

With both personal and work travel returning to our collective calendars, it’s time to brush the dust off our luggage.  I recently purchased a couple of products from the brand CalPak, and I love them.  They’re stylish, well-made and make your traveling experience feel a little more glamorous.

The first item I bought was the highly recommended Kaya Cosmetics Case (also in a mini-size).  Being able to see everything makes getting ready a breeze.  No more digging through your travel pouch searching for your serums and eyeliners.  It comes in several great colors.  Caramel is shown, but I liked the slightly pinky mauve color best.

This would make a great gift for someone about to graduate high school, college, or law school.  I also loved their discreet portable charger, which looks like a simple luggage tag and clips to your bag with ease.

Also, a former classmate carried their insulated lunch bag and she loved it.  Because the bag has soft sides and a pouch-like style, it easily fits around irregularly shaped items and containers.  The interior is fully insulated and lined with a wipeable material, so spills are no longer a problem.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
