With spring weather arriving (except in Montana, where it snowed yesterday), I plan to spend this week’s morning posts sharing the spring arrivals from some of my favorite shops. Yesterday, Ann Taylor. Today, Boden.
Boden is a wonderful brand. This UK import blends whimsy with classic styles and simple shapes. It has great colors, fun prints, and femininity that isn’t fussy.
My summer WFH uniform goes a little something like this: fun dress + slippers. Very simple. Very comfortable. If I need to leave the house or see people, I put on sandals.
This Nellie Jersey Dress has a print that’s pretty and whimsical without being over the top. This Lavinia Shirt Dress is also a great piece because you can dress it up or down. And if you love shirt dresses, this midi-length Cecile Dress is worth a look.
Boden always has an amazing sale section as well. Whether you need something from last summer’s collection or the winter one, they have a wide selection. (This gorgeous red dress is perfect for a beach vacation.)
If you haven’t shopped Boden before, the sizing is a little smaller than TTS. I am in between sizes, and I’m always more comfortable in my larger size.

Just wanted to say that I shop at Boden now thanks to you! Their jersey wrap dresses have SAVED me over the past year where my weight has fluctuated.
This might be the first time I’ve read that Boden is smaller than TTS. I wear a full size smaller than what I do in JCrew or Ann Taylor. Fortunately, their returns are easy and their return policy extremely generous. And if you don’t love something, the resale market is pretty strong through both poshmark and ThredUp
Yes! I’ve had some snafus by buying secondhand Boden in my normal size and getting confused when the things were a little, uh, tight. I eventually got fed up and bought two sizes larger next time I ordered from there directly.
I love Boden but I find their stuff soooo short waisted. I’m fairly tall (5’8″) but my more petite friend (5’3″) has the same issue. Just a heads up!
