We’ve really enjoyed our Brooklinen core sheets! We’re disappointed when they’re in the laundry and we have to use the lesser sheets 🙂

    • Hannah says:

I treated myself to Brooklinen sheets last fall and love them too! I got the luxe set and they’re great.

Has anyone tried both Brooklinen vs Parachute? Those are the two big names I’m seeing right now and was wondering if anyone had a clear preference.

    • Michaela says:

I bought a pair of Parachute linen sheets and their normal towels. Love the towels. Having to throw the sheets out after 1.5 years because the fitted sheet wore down and tore badly where our feet are. Although they were lovely, I think they were too pricey to wear out that fast. Maybe that’s a risk with linen though, this was my first set.

  3. Ell says:

Do you have a top rec out of this list, for hot sleepers?

    • Belle says:

I’ve heard from a friend whose husband is a hot sleeper that the Eucalyptus sheets from Buffy were much easier to sleep on for him. And since they live in New Mexico, they’re essential in the summer heat.

  4. TiffanY says:

Brooklinen and LL Bean fan here, at least for percale sheets.

  5. CitrineDC says:

This is a great post. We are desperately in need of new sheets. I bought some Brooklinen percale sheets a a few months ago (bought CA king for our king bed to have a little extra room for the fitted sheet). While I loved the cool and crispness of them, we washed on regular, dried on low and the bottom sheet ripped in the corner after a 3 months. Now we are sleeping on old Costco sheets and looking for the next set, so thanks everyone for the recs.

Beauty Review: Bondi Boost

As I age, I notice many changes in my body. Most are fine. Some are frustrating. Like many women, I lost a lot of hair in my postpartum phase. Being anemic for more than a year after, it didn’t grow back in to its former glory. So I’ve tried any number of shampoos, pills and […]

The Find: Shirts That Don’t Gape

I remember when Rochelle Behrens launched The Shirt — a button-down blouse with anti-gape technology (a patented internal button that keeps the look smooth). The idea seemed brilliant, but at the time, my bust didn’t require an extra button. One baby later, I understand the need for some extra security.
