The Find: A Gorgeous Work Pant

Jan 11, 2021

Longtime readers are no doubt aware how much I loathe wearing pants.  Skirts and dresses are much more comfortable.  So you know that when I find a pair of pants that I actually want to wear it’s a big deal.

How gorgeous is this “blurred teal” color?  I adore it.

The Ann Taylor Straight Pants have a sleek, tailored look to them that can’t be beat.  I adore the cuff hem and the button waistband.  They look much more expensive than they are, which is always a nice bonus.  And the color makes them well-suited for wear now or during the warmer months.

Ann Taylor is also running a sale right now

Want to know how to style them?  Check back at noon for a Two Ways post.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEORY GOOD WOOL TREECA CROPPED PANTS. THEY WERE A BIG GAME CHANGER FOR ME AND IF YOU ARE PETITE HEIGH

I like the AT straight cut pant. Like you, I’m not a big pants person but I like the cut of these. Now I look for AT suits with this cut.

Funny, I’m the complete opposite! I always get thigh chafing or my underwear wanting to do odd things without the structure or protection of pants – ESPECIALLY in the summer when it would be most advantageous. Just a swamp from the waist down.

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
