Happy Hour: The Perfect Pumpkin Cookie

Oct 30, 2020

Fall has so many wonderful cookie options, but none are more beloved in my house than pumpkin cookies.  So if you’re looking for an activity to do with friends or family, baking these delicious frosted cookies is the way to go.

These cookies from How Sweet Eats are one of the softest cookies that I’ve ever eaten.  They have a gentle flavor, but if you like more spice, feel free to add it.  But the frosting…ladies, the frosting.  Brown butter frosting is my new favorite; I will be adding it to more baked goods in the future.

I love pretty aprons.  This Printemps Apron from Anthropologie is a lovely option.  Anthro always has a great selection whether you like pretty florals or something more basic, like this chambray.

Want to get really fancy?  This La DoubleJ apron is gorgeous, and would make a good gift.  For a classic option, try this Williams Sonoma apron.  Plus-size?  Try these aprons from Amazon or this one from Etsy.

Those cookies sound like heaven! And I’ve never made a pumpkin cookie before, so this’ll be fun.

Made these last night and they were so amazing! Thanks for the recipe.

I made these over the weekend and subbed whole wheat flour for half the flour. I think they are breakfast cookies now right? They still taste amazing and decadent!

It’s allegedly spring. However, for every minute of sunshine, there seems to be an hour of rain and gloom. So while I’d love to wear lighter spring pieces, it’s time to bring on the layers.

Business Casual Outfit: Linen Closet

And just like that, it’s April. Summer is almost upon us, and the retailers are filled with linen wares. Now, you know that I am usually unwilling to wear linen to work due to the wrinkles. But in this post-pandemic world, perhaps my mind can change.
