The Find: My Favorite Athleisure Sneakers

Jul 21, 2020

When you live in the Pacific Northwest, athleisure is a big part of your look.  Recently, I needed a pair sneakers to wear with leggings when I’m walking the dog or running errands.  I wanted something comfortable, lightweight, stylish, and under-$75.  And I think I found the perfect sneaker to pair with athleisure wear.

These Adidas Cloudfoam Pure Foam running shoes feel like walking on a cloud, so they are aptly named.  The style is so lightweight and comfortable, I sometimes forget that I’m wearing them.  And the style, with the high vamp and black melange material, is really cool.

The shoes also come in a few other light and dark neutral colors.  If you are looking for a brighter, bolder color, they also have those on offer.

Most of the colors and sizes come in under-$75.  I liked the black so much that I bought a gold pair as well.  It’s just so rare to find a comfortable, lightweight sneaker that I’m completely enamored with them.

I have these and I love them. I normally go up half a size in athletic shoes but these run large so there’s no need.

Love these shoes, I got mine at Costco for about half the price before the pandemic. Not sure if they are still there but might be worth checking out.

+1 for these. They are so comfortable and super cute. They’re also the first more athletic looking sneaker that I like the look of with a dress for traveling. I like Converse but I can’t walk for miles in them, and these I can! At least, someday when we’re all allowed to travel again.

I have these in white and LOVE them too. I just need to order the black ones and ditch my old worn out Nikes…

The Range: Spring Blouses for Work (or Zoom)

Since Sloane was born, I’ve fallen hard into a black, white, and blue wardrobe. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but as spring blooms, I need a little color in my wardrobe (and probably a little print too). Here are a few tops that caught my eye for work.

Too Many Tabs: April 19, 2024

This week, I fell mindlessly into my phone more than I think I ever have. My screen time went from 3.5 hours per day to 5 hours per day. But the increased eye strain did lead to some good finds. Just going to leave this right here.  (I really need to work on “Didn’t make […]
